Building Surveying & Building Control

Building Surveying & Building Control

Skilled surveyors carry out a broad range of functions. In addition to advising on building specifications and statutory requirements (like planning and building control) they undertake measured building surveys and oversee contracted works to ensure buildings meet safety and environmental regulations. Safety is also at the heart of the building control profession, with effective regulation of the built environment its principal aim.

Technologies such as BIM modelling, thermographic cameras and UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles or, drones) are opening up new ways for surveyors to collaborate and boost efficiencies. New technology, however, is nothing without the skilled professionals who can capture and analyse the data and advise clients of the best way forward.
We’re actively recruiting in a range of roles, including structural surveyors, building inspectors, project managers and architectural technicians.
