Precision Engineering

Precision Engineering

An often overlooked specialism, precision engineering is central to the manufacturing industry, enabling the mass production of highly intricate and precise parts, anything from the small (such as microchips) to the large (such as aeronautical parts).

It’s a niche that requires a highly-skilled workforce working within many different sectors such as the nuclear and aerospace industries to develop innovative engineering solutions. We recruit for all roles covering anything from CNC machinists and welders to metal process engineers.
As an essential part of electrical and mechanical engineering, precision engineers design and manufacture machinery, precision components and intricate yet durable components. It requires understanding of materials, 3D design and electronics. It’s a sector that is constantly evolving as new technologies and software are developed in order to optimise efficiencies, reduce costs and boost production.

A modern CNC milling machine makes a turbine wheel. Accurate metal working. Shooting in real conditions, maybe some blurring and grain.
